Rossetti done and dusted (sort of…)

Yes, yes, yes, yes! I love her to pieces, but I am so tired of writing mammoths posts and am really looking forward to getting back to the iGCSE poetry. Monna Innominata was my last poem from the collection, but I am aware that I’ve got a few links to unfinished ideas/info about various things. I promise I will go back to them, but give me time!

Also, some personal news that might make some of you let me off my too infrequent posting. I am having a bloody baby! My first one! It feels amazing, but obviously it isn’t great news for my free time. At the moment I am just having to deal with my wife being a bit off colour and useless around the house; longer term I’m going to have to be doing all sorts of horrible baby things.

Ah well, I guess I will cope.

Any questions, contributions or abuse welcome as always.

Although I've only been teaching Literature since 2011 and did my degree in History, I think that makes me better placed than many Lit teachers to provide notes that make sense and aren't garbled and wrapped up with inaccessible terminology and effluent nonsense. After adventures in Uganda and Uzbekistan, I am now settling down in the Netherlands. However, currently I am just about as unsettled as I have ever been, with a new job, a new baby, a new country and a hundred other things going on! Ask me a question, collaborate or abuse me.
