E-course

Hi all,

You might have noticed that I have been a bit distracted from my main job of posting my analysis and have been playing around with a few bits and pieces on the site. I can only apologise, but I will get a poem done today as a peace offering.

Anyway, I am beginning to think about ways of extending the site and offering more. I’ve had a huge number of emails from independent entrants or people who lack faith in what their teachers are telling them. As a result I’m thinking about creating a video series with analysis of the poems, exam preparation tips, essay writing mastery and other essentials.

This is some way off, but perhaps by the next academic year. I’d have to make this a charged thing (something like $50, I reckon), but all the content on the website would remain absolutely free and continue to be updated and added to.

It’d be great if you could add a quick comment or send me a quick email to let me know whether you’d be interested in this sort of thing – to let me know whether it’d be worthwhile or not. Email: cieliteraturecontact@gmail.com or just drop a comment here and I will love you forever!

Much love as ever,

Mr Sir

Author: Mr Sir

Although I've only been teaching Literature since 2011 and did my degree in History, I think that makes me better placed than many Lit teachers to provide notes that make sense and aren't garbled and wrapped up with inaccessible terminology and effluent nonsense. After adventures in Uganda and Uzbekistan, I am now settling down in the Netherlands. However, currently I am just about as unsettled as I have ever been, with a new job, a new baby, a new country and a hundred other things going on! Ask me a question, collaborate or abuse me.

  1. Dear Mr Sir please don’t make the site a payable one as many of us will not be able to benefit your valuable and priceless analysis .God will surely reward you for this noble job you are doing for needy people like us .Thanks

    1. Nah, I don’t want to charge for the site, but I am thinking of offering a complimentary course. So, if you wanted extra help or ideas you could sign up for the course. All the notes will still be here and I will continue to add to them. However, at some point I need to make this financially viable and ideally I’d like to be able to do this full time or part time as a job.
